I was recently honored to be able to attend Cetera's Circle of Excellence Conference. Only the top 15% of all advisors of the broker-dealer are invited to this prestigious annual event. This points to the caliber, accomplishment and leadership of those in attendance.
In addition to educational sessions and networking opportunities, we had the chance to learn from several inspirational keynote speakers. I always find it instructive to be around the most successful people in our industry, as you always want to learn from the best. After nearly 25 years with the broker dealer, I am blessed to call many of these people not only colleagues, but good friends.
One of the unique things about Cetera is our goal to leave a charitable footprint in whatever community we visit during our conferences. This year's philanthropic theme is "The Year of the Child". To align with this theme, we had the opportunity to raise money for Youth Haven, whose mission is to protect and empower at risk children across Southwest Florida. More than $100,000 was raised by the conference attendees for this worthwhile cause. It is AWESOME to be part of a group of people who are willing to share so generously to help those less fortunate.
I was recognized as part of the Pinnacle Club, Cetera's top level of advisors. I have achieved this level every year since it was created. I was also recognized as one of the top five advisors within the broker dealer in net new assets under management in our advisory services platform.
While these awards and recognition are nice and an affirmation of the good work that we are able to do for the friends and clients of Impel Wealth Management, the friendships, camaraderie and sharing that takes place in this environment are far more valuable. It helps us sharpen our sword and be the best that we can be as we continue "Moving Life Forward" together.
