Jesse Hurst named a 2021 Best-In-State Wealth Advisor by Forbes

March 31, 2021

For the fourth year in a row, Jesse Hurst and the team at Impel Wealth Management have been recognized by Forbes and SHOOK Research as a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor.

The ranking features 5,224 of the best financial advisors in the nation – including only 161 from the state of Ohio and just 7 from the Akron area. More than 32,000 financial advisors were nominated for the honor, and analysts from SHOOK Research conducted more than 15,000 virtual, telephone and in-person interviews with advisors.

“This recognition is a testament to our team’s client-centered approach to financial planning,” said Hurst. “Our goal is to help clients build the future they’ve always envisioned by providing the tools and information they need to manage their financial life with confidence.”

According to Forbes, its ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria gained through due diligence interviews and quantitative data. It considers factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and best practices in working with clients.

So, what does this recognition mean to you? When entrusting your financial future to an advisor, you want to be confident they’re highly qualified with a proven track record.

At Impel, we combine both industry knowledge and constant monitoring of economic trends to put you on a trajectory to achieve your future goals. Industry rankings, such as the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor list, are a testament to our dedication – and can give you peace of mind that you’re partnering with a trusted professional.

The 2021 ranking of the Forbes’ Best–in–State Wealth Advisors1 list was developed by SHOOK Research and is based on in–person and telephone due–diligence meetings to evaluate each advisor qualitatively and on a ranking algorithm that includes client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations, and quantitative criteria (including assets under management and revenue generated for their firms). Overall, approximately 32,725 advisors were considered, and 5,000 (approximately 15.3 percent of candidates) were recognized. The full methodology2 that Forbes developed in partnership with SHOOK Research is available at www.forbes.com

This recognition and the due–diligence process conducted are not indicative of the advisor's future performance. Your experience may vary. Winners are organized and ranked by state. Some states may have more advisors than others. You are encouraged to conduct your own research to determine if the advisor is right for you.

Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. SHOOK does not receive a fee in exchange for rankings.
