How Resiliency Defines the American Dream

Description

Just a friendly reminder to reserve your digital front-row seat to hear the inspiring stories of three 9/11 heroes. This 20-year anniversary serves as a reminder of our resiliency as a nation, and how we come together during difficult times. Our guests include:

  • Alison Crowther, whose son, Welles (later known as “The Man in the Red Bandanna”, a Wall Street equities trader), saved as many as 12 lives in the Twin Towers before he lost his own life trying to save more.
  • Lieutenant Colonel Robert Darling, who was suddenly thrust into the role of White House Bunker liaison between the Vice President, National Security Advisor and the Pentagon.
  • Daniel Rodriguez, an NYPD officer who was driving to work when the first plane hit the World Trade Center. Arriving at the site as a first responder, he witnessed the destruction of both towers, nearly losing his own life. At "Prayer for America" in Yankee Stadium, his inspirational voice gave hope and strength to a grieving nation.
September 11 and its aftermath holds useful lessons in both human and economic resiliency. Cetera’s Chief Investment Officer, Gene Goldman, will bring you IN THE ROOM with these amazing individuals and share investing insights for coping with world events that bring financial setbacks.
