I would like to reintroduce you to my friend, coach, and fellow author Stevyn Guinnip. You may have first become familiar with “the girl named Stevyn” when she hosted several health and wellness workshops for Impel Wealth clients several years ago. These were very well attended, and the information was extremely valuable and well-received by our clients who participated.
She grew up as the daughter of a financial advisor. For over 30 years, my father helped a lot of people build financial portfolios to protect their wealth and prepare for retirement. Stevyn worked in his office growing up and always wondered why some of his clients would save and work hard their entire lives only to get sick or die prematurely. It seemed like such a waste!

What bothered her even more was watching financial advisors, who know how to plan for the future, ignore their own health for decades. Stevyn kept asking herself, “What good is wealth if you don’t have your health?” Fast forward....she became an exercise physiologist, a certified health & wellness coach, and the founder of Grow Wellthy. She helps financial professionals and their clients invest in their health so they can retire "Wellthy."
Stevyn recently sent me a very nice note congratulating me on the publication of my PopEnomics book. She let me know that she had published her first book recently as well. You can find information about it on her website. I have included a link below that you can use to learn more about her story, background, and services.
Stevyn also gave me an article she created for financial advisors to share with their valued clients. It addresses how she believes that managing yourHEALTH isone of the most underestimated risks in retirement planning. As we are still in the early part of 2026 and many people are working to maintain their New Year's resolutions and goals, I thought I would share her thoughts with you.
This is something I have talked about previously. In August 2024 I wrote the blog post Health Span vs Life Span, which you can check out at the link below.

If you have been a client for any number of years, you have probably heard me say that your retirement years give you the unique opportunity to enjoy the gift of time, the gift of health, and the gift of resources. However, without the gift of health, it can be challenging to enjoy the other two.
I hope you find this as valuable and thought-provoking as I did. Thank you, Stevyn, for allowing me to share this with our valued friends and clients! I thought it was an important message as we continue “Moving Life Forward.”
